Residential apartments faces issues of running out of water and overflow of water in water tanks due to excess supply of water hence the introduction of water tank alert system.

Water is important to our ecosystems and human health.

Overflow water from the rooftop tank can cause leakage therefore leads to other structural defect to the building.

Since maintenance of the building is manually done, it can lead to human error if not careful.

Due to human error, many has found dead rodents and birds in the water tank resulting into contamination of water.

It becomes difficult for users to judge the level of actual water in water tanks, due to sludge forming on the bottom of the water.

Over time, dregs from leaves, dust, debris and ashes can build up on the bottom of the tanks and as they decompose becomes sludge substance.

This sludge can cause bacteria to spread in the water supply, which if consumed can result in serious health problems.

A good healthy tank is a clean tank without sludge built in it and so if the tank has back wash system is an advantage.

Water tank alert system is used to solve out the issues associated with water tank, water contamination and sludge.

We use sensors, to check the water level so when it goes below the threshold limit , a notification is sent to user through the android application to inform the user.

Also when there is overflow of water in water tank it uses sensor to detect the water level

So that if the water level goes above certain limit the pump gets turned off automatically.

In a nutshell our water monitoring solution will provide real time analysis of data collected and suggest suitable remedial measures.
